Why pay, when your content is free on YouTube?

A number of reasons:

Not all our content is on YouTube. Sadly content like ours that covers topics deeply, has poor engagement on YouTube and posting it there hurts more than it helps.
YouTube does a great job of "video", but misses other things that make for a great education platform e.g. rich lesson descriptions, executable code examples, full text search of lesson content etc.
Free to public YouTube content is scheduled to satisfy the algorithm gods. The content on our platform is available as soon as it’s ready.
Our quality content on YouTube has to compete with more click baity and generally less useful videos. If you are on YouTube, it’ll test your willpower to stay focused on your education.
YouTube doesn't have a great sequential multi-course system. Once you are on an education platform like ours, its easier to learn quickly.
Some workplaces don’t appreciate people “learning” on YouTube during work hours. Its a sad reality.
YouTube compression doesn't produce the best video quality. You can see the difference between a video on our YouTube Channel and Courses.

Do you have PPP (purchasing power parity)?

Coming from the third world myself, I believe in equal access to education as much as possible. Some people charge $999 for a single course of equivalent quality 😱.

We’ve intentionally kept our subscription cheap and affordable. You can subscribe and unsubscribe at any time to suit your learning goals. And you can watch our content from anywhere in the world.

How do you decide on the content?

Most of the content is decided by the community. We look at what people want, what we've seen developers struggle with. We have a discord server where you can suggest content.

How do I share some lesson with friends for free?

We have a unique gift system that allows subscribers to make any paid lesson free for friends, colleagues, your social network. They don't need to subscribe or even sign in 🫰🏻

Do you offer a payment plan?

Essentially, the monthly subscription is a payment plan with the added benefit that you can cancel at any time when you feel like you've achieved your goals 🥅

Do you offer student discounts?

We've kept our prices as low as possible to make it affordable for everyone. That said, we value students and their education. There are running contracts we have with certain universities and bootcamps. If you are a student at one of these institutions, you can get a discount. We also offer it to other students that reach out to us. Drop us an email (support@booleanart.com) and we can forward you a Student Discount Offer we created for one of our partners.
