Course Intro

Welcome to this course on modern JavaScript. We've seen JavaScript evolve from a toy language into something extremely powerful and now running many of the critical services that we depend upon in our day-to-day life. So there is no doubt that it is an important language, but learning JavaScript today can be pretty overwhelming. This is because of the sea of outdated and misinformation out there. Because JavaScript has evolved significantly in recent years, this course avoids wasting too much time. In legacy features, we do not assume any prior JavaScript knowledge, and we start from modern basics and build up to advance concepts without slowing

it down with patterns that are no longer recommended. This course is designed as a quick reference, so it starts at the basics, but then it goes deep. This means that you can watch it again and again whenever you need to jog your memory. And even if you've been doing JavaScript for a while, you will undoubtedly learn plenty of new tricks, overcome some common misconceptions, and get a deeper understanding of the various JavaScript constructs. By the end of this course, you'll be comfortable reading any JavaScript code present in any library or application framework.
